A novel global FPPT strategy for PV system under partial shading condition
Based on statistical results (more than 2430 MATLAB simulations and hard‐in‐loop experiments) with a comprehensive comparison index, the CPA is selected and modified to serve as the core optimizer for the GFPPT optimization problem. Based on the features of MH and GFPP, a novel modification strategy is proposed to reduce searching time, including an ...

Global Hybrid Maximum Power Point Tracking for PV Modules Based on a Double-Diode Model
Photovoltaic systems under partial shading conditions (PSC) need to operate at the global maximum power point (GMPP) to extract the maximum possible power. Partial shading is characterized by the exhibition of a multi-peaked behavior in the voltage power

In this paper, a novel adaptive photovoltaic maximum power point tracking (MPPT) circuit is proposed, called AT2MPPT. The AT2MPPT circuit is based on a type two fuzzy logic set and utilizes a detailed two‐diode model of a solar cell, as well as an innovative hybrid algorithm for designing the MPPT circuit.

On the basis of a five‐parameter photovoltaic (PV) mathematical model, a multipeak output model of a PV array under partial shading conditions (PSCs) is obtained by MATLAB simulation. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the model can simulate the performance curves of the PV array under the PSCs.
