More hats than hours? Examining the associations between role sequence patterns, well‐being, demographics and work‐related characteristics across two countries

open access: yesJournal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Volume 99, Issue 3, September 2026.
Abstract Work‐nonwork role transitions are known to affect well‐being, yet most research has examined these transitions as isolated events. We adopted a temporal structure perspective to examine common patterns of daily role transitions using sequence analysis based on the order, duration, timing and frequency of role engagement.

An Inflating Upper Mantle Magma Reservoir Beneath the Tip of the Condor Seamount, Azores Revealed by Rapid‐Response Ocean‐Bottom‐Seismometer Data

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 16, 28 August 2026.
Abstract Condor Seamount is among the most seismically active regions on the Azores Plateau. In December 2019, an earthquake crisis occurred at the tip of the seamount, which was strongly felt on nearby islands. Two months after the peak of the crisis, we deployed a local network of five ocean‐bottom seismometers around the seamount, recording ...

Rapid UAV‐ and Ground‐Based Magnetic Mapping of Subsurface Fractures During a Volcano‐Tectonic Crisis in Grindavík, Iceland

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 16, 28 August 2026.
Abstract We applied an integrated UAV‐ and ground‐based magnetometry workflow to map shallow subsurface fractures and cavities in the town of Grindavík during the 2023–2025 volcano‐tectonic crisis. Short‐wavelength linear and semi‐circular magnetic lows delineate open or partially open fractures and localized cavities, including features with no ...

Performance of Glass Fiber Composites With Plastic‐Waste Pyrolysis Char as Filler

open access: yesPolymer Composites, Volume 47, Issue 16, Page 14769-14787, 20 August 2026.
Valorisation of mixed plastic waste into carbonaceous char via pyrolysis, its integration as a microfiller in epoxy/E‐glass (GFRP) laminates, and characterisation to assess composite performance as a function of filler loading. ABSTRACT Plastic pyrolysis offers circular solutions for mixed plastic waste but leaves a carbonaceous char that is often ...
