Preparation of Porous MOF‐Polymer Composites via High Internal Phase Pickering Emulsions for Dye Adsorption Applications

Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A versatile method was developed to fabricate hierarchically porous monoliths using UiO‐66/TOCNC composites as Pickering emulsion stabilizers. The resulting polyHIPEs, produced under mild and scalable conditions, showed confirmed structural integrity through TGA, XRD, SEM, BET, and FT‐IR.

A Novel Heterometallic Ring {Cr5Ni3} and New {Cr6Co2} and {Cr6Zn2} Rings

A novel heterometallic ring containing five Cr(III) and three Ni(II) centers is reported. It forms an octagon and has a single isomer, as revealed by a combination of magnetic and EPR studies and collision‐induced dissociation mass spectrometry. Design of Fuel‐Dependent, Complex‐Coacervate‐Based Synthetic Cells

Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Fuel‐dependent synthetic cells form and persist only in the presence of chemical fuel, decaying under starvation. We establish design rules for hexapeptide‐based coacervates, showing that tryptophan enhances polyanion binding, extends lifetime, and reduces waste sensitivity.

PEK14: A Kinesin‐4 Necessary for Male‐Derived Fertility in Arabidopsis thaliana

ABSTRACT Of the 61 kinesins annotated in Arabidopsis thaliana, many are still without assigned function. Here, we have screened an insertional mutant library of Arabidopsis pollen‐expressed kinesins for fertility defects. Insertional mutants for three kinesins showed a significant reduction in seed set.
