Management of Retropharyngeal Lymph Node Metastases in Thyroid Cancer

open access: yesHead &Neck, Volume 48, Issue 1, Page 237-245, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Retropharyngeal lymph node (RPLN) metastases in thyroid cancer are rare, with optimal management underreported. Methods Retrospective study of consecutive thyroid cancer patients with RPLN metastases treated at MD Anderson Cancer Center between 2000 and 2024.

A Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia Mouse Shows Wide‐Ranging Biochemical Consequences of Elevated Glycine, Reduced Folate One‐Carbon Charging, and Serine Deficiency

open access: yesJournal of Inherited Metabolic Disease, Volume 49, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Nonketotic hyperglycinemia is a severe neonatal epileptic encephalopathy caused by deficient glycine cleavage enzyme activity, for which currently no effective treatment exists. Incomplete understanding of brain biochemistry represents a major knowledge gap to develop new treatments.

Convolutional recurrent U‐net for cardiac cine MRI reconstruction via effective spatio‐temporal feature exploitation

open access: yesMedical Physics, Volume 53, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Background Cardiac Cine Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) provides dynamic visualization of the heart's structure and function but is hindered by slow acquisition, requiring repeated breath‐holds that challenge sick patients. Accelerated imaging can mitigate these issues but potentially reduce spatial and temporal resolution.

Validation of the 10‐Item Lower Extremity Functional Scale (LEFS‐10) for Individuals With Knee Osteoarthritis

open access: yesPhysiotherapy Research International, Volume 31, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Functional capacity assessment in knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is essential because it relates to pain, disability, and quality of life. Reliable, sensitive, and validated tools are needed to measure lower limb function. Purpose To validate the Brazilian Portuguese version of the 10‐item Lower Extremity Functional Scale (LEFS‐10) for ...

Microstructure Development in a New Generation S1300‐Type Ultrahigh‐Strength Structural Steel on Tempering

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 97, Issue 1, Page 524-542, January 2026.
Here, the microstructure evolution of a new generation ultrahigh‐strength S1300‐type structural steel has been investigated for direct‐quench and tempering route. Various stages of tempering are elucidated by thorough characterization, and a new strain‐size parameter of martensite is proposed to have a correlation with hardness, which will be useful in

Shielding of Unconventional High Surge Impedance Loading Transmission Lines

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper focuses on determining the optimal location and number of shield wires for a novel‐designed unconventional high surge impedance loading line. This line has a much lower surge impedance than conventional lines, raising key questions on the location of shield wires to meet an acceptable shielding failure rate (SFFOR).

Neue Werkzeuge: GND → Wikidata | Wikidata → FactGrid

open access: yesSLUB Open Science Lab
