RoboLoc: A Benchmark Dataset for Point Place Recognition and Localization in Indoor–Outdoor Integrated Environments

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
RoboLoc is a new benchmark dataset designed for GPS‐free point place recognition in environments with indoor–outdoor transitions and floor changes. It includes real‐world robot trajectories with diverse elevation and domain conditions, addressing the limitations of existing LiDAR datasets.

Physical Parameters Estimation Using Roadside Monocular Vision

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper proposes a new monocular vision‐based roadside perception and measurement method, which combines deep learning‐based target detection algorithms and coordinate transformation methods to measure different kinds of physical parameters of the targets and give GPS information under the global navigation satellite system, in order to meet the ...

Joint Time Synchronisation and Localisation Method by TDOA Observation in 5G Networks

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This work proposes a method for joint time synchronisation and localisation problems and proposes to obtain the initial values of the alternating iteration algorithm through solving the MVIE problem. The simulations showcase the satisfying positioning accuracy and clock synchronisation accuracy of the proposed method.

WFH: A Wideband Frequency Hopping‐Based Anti‐Jamming Navigation Signal Structure

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Given the limitations of existing satellite navigation signals in antijamming performance amid growing environmental jamming, this paper proposes a navigation signal structure based on wideband frequency hopping (WFH) modulation to enhance both antijamming capability and measurement accuracy. It further introduces the nonstationary effective carrier‐to‐
