WHITE PAPER: Protecting GNSS Against Intentional Interference [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
The vulnerabilities associated with modern systems relying on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) due to intentional and unintentional interference is an increasing threat. Since radio frequency interference (RFI) significantly degrades the performance of a GNSS receiver.

Precise VLBI/GNSS ties with micro-VLBI [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
We present here a concept of measuring local ties between collocated GNSS and VLBI stations using the microwave technique that effectively transforms a GNSS receiver to an element of a VLBI network. This is achieved by modifying the signal chain that allows to transfer voltage of the GNSS antenna to a digitizer via a coaxial cable.

Using Pole–Pole Measurements to Calculate Arbitrary 4‐Point Configurations—An Approach to Make Electrical Resistivity Tomography More Flexible and Time‐Efficient

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) is nowadays widely used in archaeological prospection. This study deals with an approach to make ERT more time‐efficient and flexible. It is based on calculating arbitrary 4‐point configurations by superposition of multiple pole–pole measurements.

Remote Sensing Analysis and LiDAR Experimenting in the Espique Valley (La Peza, Granada, Spain)

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Espique valley is a small space at the foot of the mountain, practically closed, which hides a rich archaeological heritage, not only of habitats but also of varied productive spaces. For some years now, MEMOLab UGR has been carrying out research that is now enriched with the contribution of LiDAR, with whose application we are ...

Drone‐Based High‐Resolution LiDAR for Undercanopy Archaeology in Mediterranean Environment: Rusellae Case Study (Italy)

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper presents a novel methodology and workflow successful in identifying and mapping undercanopy archaeology in woodland Mediterranean areas. The study area is characterized by dense vegetation typical of the Mediterranean area, located in southern Tuscany (Italy), within the territory of the ancient city of Rusellae next to the ...

Research on the Prediction Method of 3D Surface Deformation in Filling Mining Based on InSAR‐IPIM

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Aiming at a series of defects existing in the monitoring of mining area by InSAR technology, this paper proposes an insar‐ipim model to predict the three‐dimensional surface deformation of filling mining. The parameters of the model are inversed by using the group optimization algorithm slime bacteria algorithm proposed in 2020, and the empirical ...
