Control System for the Navigation of the Agricultural Robots: A Review
ABSTRACT Control systems for the navigation of autonomous agricultural robots—particularly those operating in uneven terrain and in the presence of static or dynamic obstacles—have advanced considerably in recent years. As conventional machinery evolves toward increasingly automated systems, the design of reliable navigation controllers has become ...

Mine Machinery Automation Using Locata-Augmented GNSS
Many of the new paradigms in mining have at their core the requirement for reliable, continuous centimetre-level positioning accuracy to enable increased automation of mining operations. The deployment of precision systems for navigating, controlling and monitoring machinery such as drills, bulldozers, draglines and shovels with real time position ...

GDOP Bounds for GNSS Augmented with Range Information
Code phase GNSS receivers convert the measured satellite pseudoranges into estimates of the position and clock offset of the receiver, typically via an iterative, linearized least squares method. Since the pseudoranges themselves are noisy, the resulting estimates of position and time are random variables.

Trajectory optimisation for avionics-based GNSS integrity augmentation system [PDF]
In this paper, trajectory optimisation algorithms developed specifically for the Global Navigation satellite System (GNSS) Avionics-Based Integrity Augmentation (ABIA) system are presented. The ABIA system is designed to increase the levels of integrity and accuracy (as well as continuity in multi-sensor data fusion architectures) of GNSS in a variety ...

This study investigates the integration of synthetic imagery, created with diffusion‐based models, to supplement limited training data and improve muskox (Ovibos moschatus) detection in zero‐shot (ZS) and few‐shot (FS) settings. ZS models detected more than 80% of muskoxen in real images, confirming the potential of synthetic data as a substitute for ...

Vertical Protection Level Optimization and Availability Analysis for Advanced RAIM
With the introduction of global navigation satellite systems (GNSSs) in aviation, there has been increased dependency on GNSS position. Multi-constellation GNSS services and equipment will remain a solution for many aircraft positions in safety.

Retrospective image analysis for long‐term demography using Google Earth imagery
We demonstrate that high‐resolution Google Earth imagery, combined with minimal field validation, enables retrospective tracking of individual invasive plants. The image shows one of the monitored individuals of Opuntia sp. in Greece. Our approach reveals long‐term demographic patterns, recruitment dynamics, and spatial expansion without continuous ...
