Low-cost GNSS receiver in RTK positioning under the standard ISO-17123-8: A feasible option in geomatics

Measurement: Journal of the International Measurement Confederation, 2019
GNSS positioning is nowadays applied for surveying and other geomatic applications. Although dual-frequency GNSS receivers are widely used, low-cost single-frequency receivers have been relegated to navigation applications. However, their advantages make

Analysis of the short-term temporal variation of differential code bias in GNSS receiver

Measurement: Journal of the International Measurement Confederation, 2020
The short-term variation of GNSS Receiver Differential Code Biases (RDCB) has become one of the main error sources affecting the retrieval of ionospheric Total Electron Content (TEC).

The Lunar GNSS Receiver Experiment (LuGRE)

The International Technical Meeting of the The Institute of Navigation, 2022
The Lunar GNSS Receiver Experiment (LuGRE) is a joint NASA-Italian Space Agency (ASI) payload on the Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1 (BGM1) with the goal to demonstrate GNSS-based positioning, navigation, and timing at the Moon. LuGRE was chosen by the NASA

Large-Scale Ionospheric Irregularities Detected by Ionosonde and GNSS Receiver Network

IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, 2021
Large-scale ionospheric irregularities, which occurred on September 8, 2017, were detected by the ionosonde and the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver network in this letter. The Wuhan ionospheric sounding system (WISS), deployed at Puer (

On Use of Low Cost, Compact GNSS Receiver Modules for Ionosphere Monitoring

Radio Science, 2021
Geodetic or special purpose Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers are used for ionosphere monitoring and research. Dual frequency, compact, low‐cost commercial GNSS modules can provide raw GNSS data and are commonly used for positioning ...

GNSS Software Receivers

GPS Solutions, 2000
Software Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) receivers are those that implement signal correlation processing not in hardware, but in their software. The main problem for the development of real-time software (SW) multichannel GNSS receivers is the tremendous amount of calculations to perform signal correlation.

Integrity monitoring with vector GNSS receivers

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2014
A receiver autonomous integrity monitoring (RAIM) algorithm for vector tracking loop receivers is developed. It is shown that vector RAIM is not a simple remapping of ideas from scalar loop RAIM. Notably, it is shown that pseudorange residuals are not ideal for generating the test statistic in a vector receiver.

A programmable multi-GNSS baseband receiver

2015 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2015
This paper assesses the drawbacks in reconfigura-bility and resource consumption of the conventional baseband signal processing circuitry for modern Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs) signals. The involvement of new GNSSs leads to the requirement of designing a programmable multi-GNSS baseband receiver that can be reconfigured across GNSS ...
