Mine‐water immersion tests reveal pronounced coal weakening (vs. minor concrete degradation), identifying coal pillars as the stability‐limiting component in composite dams. A coupled FEINN framework quantifies extreme‐pressure stability and ranks multi‐parameter designs via a normalized multi‐indicator scheme, enabling optimized dam configuration for ...

Numerical Simulation of Surface Deformation in Goaf
Abstract Coal mine goaf is a hidden, complex, surface deformation of a large range and easy to cause geological disasters of the bad construction site, the surface engineering construction of great harm. The uneven subsidence, horizontal movement, deformation, collapse and other disasters of the goaf surface have serious potential safety

Financial Statement Information and Equity Value: The Role of Real Options Characteristics
ABSTRACT This paper examines whether firm‐specific real options characteristics are equity value‐relevant beyond valuation estimates anchored in financial statements. Using extensive historical data for the United Kingdom, we assess and compare the forecast accuracy and explanatory power for stock prices of equity valuation models based on residual ...

Design of Initial Mining Pressure Relief Scheme for Large‐Size Mining Face: A Case Study
The numerical simulation analysis method is used to compare the actual mining face (315 m) with the designed mining face (200 m). The results show that the large mining height working face has larger abutment pressure peak and stress concentration factor than the general mining height working face.

Design of support system for bord and pillar workings [PDF]
The estimation of rock load from the strata and its distribution over the underground mine workings is of prime importance. In Indian coalmines, CMRI- RMR and NGI-Q Systems are mostly used for formulating design of support in rock engineering.
