Goal Recognition through Goal Graph Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Artificial Intelligence Research, 2001
We present a novel approach to goal recognition based on a two-stage paradigm of graph construction and analysis. First, a graph structure called a Goal Graph is constructed to represent the observed actions, the state of the world, and the achieved goals as well as various connections between these nodes at consecutive time steps. Then,

Neuronal chains for actions in the parietal lobe: a computational model. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2011
The inferior part of the parietal lobe (IPL) is known to play a very important role in sensorimotor integration. Neurons in this region code goal-related motor acts performed with the mouth, with the hand and with the arm.

Safety-Specific Leadership, Goal Orientation, and Near-Miss Recognition: The Cross-Level Moderating Effects of Safety Climate

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2019
Near-miss recognition is an increasingly important area of research in safety management. Drawing on the self-determination theory, we ask whether and how safety-specific transformational leadership and safety-specific active transactional leadership ...

Unheard and Under‐Supported: Health‐Related Quality of Life in Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults With Sickle Cell Disease

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is an autosomal recessive hemoglobinopathy affecting millions of individuals worldwide. The clinical expression and psychosocial burden of SCD vary widely across geographical, cultural, and healthcare system contexts, underscoring the need for setting‐specific approaches to assessment.
