Dynamics of the CD9 interactome during bacterial infection of epithelial cells by proximity labelling proteomics

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
We describe the CD9 interactome in epithelial cells for the first time. The interactome is diverse and dynamic and changes dependent on infection with specific bacteria. We validate these data by showing functional interaction between CD9 with CD44 or CD147. We therefore demonstrate that CD9 is a universal organiser of bacterial adhesion platforms able

The ALS‐associated E425K mutation uncouples DNAJC7 from the Hsp70 chaperone cycle

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
DNAJC7 is a J‐domain protein that plays a key role in protein quality control by regulating Hsp70 activity and preventing protein aggregation. We find that the ALS‐associated E425K mutation in DNAJC7 disrupts productive interaction and activation of Hsp70, thereby blocking the transfer and refolding of client proteins such as TDP‐43.

Stability Control of Multilayer Roof Strata in the Large Mining Height Gob-Side Entry: A Case Study

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Roof separation, destabilization and collapse of multilayer roof structures are difficult to control in large mining height gob-side entries due to severe mining pressure.

Automatic sealing system for goaf along gob-side entry retaining

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua
The existing sealing methods for goaf along gob-side entry retaining mainly focus on building sealing walls and sealing wall cracks. The construction period is long and repeated, which consumes a lot of labor costs, has a low degree of automation, and is prone to secondary damage.

Proteostasis of organelles in aging and disease

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Cells rely on regulated proteostasis mechanisms to keep their internal compartments functioning properly. When these mechanisms fail, damaged proteins accumulate, disrupting organelles, such as the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi, and lysosomes, as well as membraneless organelles, such as stress granules, processing bodies, the ...

Short Cantilever Rock Beam Structure and Mechanism of Gob-Side Entry Retaining Roof in Reuse Period

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2020
In the reuse stage of a gob-side entry retaining, failure of the structure and stability of the main roof have a significant effect on the safety of the advanced support and ventilation space at the working face.

Effect of Delayed Exposure to Staining Agents on the Color Stability and Translucency of Esthetic Resin Composites

open access: yesJournal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the effect of delayed exposure to staining agents and resin composite type on the discoloration and translucency changes of esthetic resin composites. Materials and Methods Five resin composites (Asteria, Tokuyama; Brillant EverGlow, Coltene; GC A'chord; Harmonize; and Filtek Ultimate, 3M ESPE) were tested. Disc specimens

Study on the influence of ventilation methods on coal spontaneous combustion in gob-side entry retaining goaf areas

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua
Under gob-side entry retaining mining conditions, the gas distribution characteristics in the goaf are easily affected by the ventilation methods, making it difficult to accurately identify the locations of coal spontaneous combustion hazards. To address

The miR319/bHLH094 Module Regulates Creeping Bentgrass Thermotolerance by Modulating Auxin Biosynthesis and Signalling Pathway

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT MicroRNA319 (miR319) has been demonstrated to regulate plant development and responses to stress such as drought and salt. However, its role in thermotolerance, particularly in cool season grasses, remains unclear. Here we report that miR319 plays a negative role in heat tolerance of creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera).
