Diffraction‐Free Natural Optical Skyrmions and Their Subwavelength Confinement Around Vortices
ABSTRACT Diffraction causes waves to spread out as they propagate freely. The tighter the lateral confinement, the faster the spreading. Past research on how to suppress diffraction has been based on wave engineering and has led so far to idealized waves that, in real settings, eventually diffract.

R&D Organization and Corporate Social Responsibility Specialization
ABSTRACT In this paper, we examine whether the scope of corporate social responsibility (CSR) should be broad or narrow. A broad scope covers both production and R&D investment decisions, while a narrow scope applies only to production decisions. We show that both firms' choices and the government's preferences depend on the level of CSR concern and on

Exploring the Strengths and Limitations of Polymer Chemistry Informed Neural Networks
PCINNs are able to reach high levels of predictive performance utilizing imperfect kinetic models and a relatively small dataset, with reliable extrapolation at reaction temperatures significantly beyond the range of the original dataset. ABSTRACT Kinetic models are essential tools for providing a fundamental understanding of polymerization processes ...

Performance Evaluation of Compression‐Molded Recycled Mixed Plastic Fractions From Light Packaging
Mixed HDPE/PP bottle‐cap waste was successfully processed through closed‐loop mechanical recycling. The recycled blends maintained stable thermal, rheological, and mechanical performance over multiple cycles, demonstrating the feasibility of valorizing heterogeneous polyolefin waste without advanced polymer separation.

Thermoresistive sensing materials derived from eco‐friendly polymers for broad‐range temperature measurements. ABSTRACT Carbon dioxide‐derived polycarbonates (CO2‐PCs) present a sustainable alternative to standard bisphenol A polycarbonates (BPA‐PCs), as they are synthesized from the reaction between epoxide and carbon dioxide (CO2). In fact, these eco‐

Abstract Background People with spinal cord injury (SCI) experience sensory and motor impairments that often require exercise‐based treatments. However, these interventions are challenging due to limited active mobility. Novel rehabilitation approaches, such as those targeting the mirror neuron system, could offer additional benefits.

Similarity‐Driven Framework for Efficient Polymer Property Prediction Under Data Scarcity Scenarios
A new approach, based on structural and chemical similarities between polymers, is proposed to improve the performance of artificial neural networks in predicting the glass transition temperature under data‐scarce conditions. ABSTRACT Predicting polymer properties directly from chemical structure is essential for the rational design of advanced ...
