Advanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.Terahertz microscale silicon waveguides can be wholly unclad, making it possible to interact with guided waves contactlessly via evanescent fields. We exploit this with conductive walls that enforce a movable field‐null upon modal fields, enabling tunable dispersion and cutoff similar to a fiber squeezer, albeit without physical contact.
