Observations and Simulation of Thermospheric Composition Changes During the 14 October 2023 Solar Eclipse

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 7, 16 April 2026.
Abstract This study presents a full‐period imaging of the thermospheric composition response to the 14 October 2023 annular solar eclipse, combining GOLD (Global‐scale Observations of the Limb and Disk) far‐ultraviolet observations with solar‐irradiance‐driven WACCM‐X (Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model with thermosphere–ionosphere extension ...

Behaviour of biopolishing on dyeability and certain properties of cotton fabrics [PDF]

open access: yesTekstilna industrija, 2019
Conventional chemical processes are generally severe and fibre damage may occur. Enzymes are characterized by their ability to operate under mild conditions and as a result processes can be carried out without further damaging the fibers.

Резонантен преобразувач за индукционо загревање на метали со подобрување на коефициентот на полезно дејство [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Во докторската дисертација, врз база на теориска анализа, е развиен нов метод за управување на мостен сериски резонантен конвертор во режим на работа над резонантната фреквенција и во услови на вклучување на прекинувачите при ZCS и ZVS.

Comprehensive and Open Assessment of Thermospheric Models During Geomagnetic Storm Times Within CCMC Framework

open access: yesSpace Weather, Volume 24, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Thermospheric neutral density controls satellite drag in low Earth orbit and varies strongly during geomagnetic storms. We present a multi‐mission, phase‐resolved assessment of empirical and physics‐based thermosphere models using 151 storms from 2001 to 2023, including MSIS, DTM, JB2008, WAM‐IPE, WACCM‐X, GITM, CTIPe, and TIE‐GCM.

The Prediction of Short‐Term Atmospheric Density in Lower Thermosphere

open access: yesSpace Weather, Volume 24, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Accurate short‐term prediction of atmospheric density in the lower thermosphere (85–125 km) is essential for precise orbit determination and satellite drag mitigation, particularly during geomagnetic storms. Although physics‐based models such as NRLMSIS 2.1 provide empirical estimates, their effectiveness is limited under extreme space weather.

Physicochemical characterization and quality of cold-pressed peanut oil obtained from organically produced peanuts from Macedonian “Virginia” variety

open access: yesGrasas y Aceites, 2016
The physicochemical characterization and quality of cold pressed peanut edible oil from the “Virginia” variety, organically produced from the region of Macedonia, were examined in this work for the first time. The fatty acid composition of the oil showed

Declining Ecosystem Respiration Linked to Nitrogen Deposition: Insights From a 26‐Year FLUXNET Record

open access: yesGlobal Change Biology, Volume 32, Issue 4, April 2026.
Ecosystem respiration in aging forests is expected to grow to a high level. Counter‐intuitively, in the Loobos (NL) forest, we find respiration to decrease by tens of percents over the last 26 years. This is linked to acidification of the soil due to nitrogen deposition.
