Discovery of Intra-Abdominal Hemorrhage during Hernioplasty in a Patient Taking Rivaroxaban
We discuss the first ever case of rivaroxaban causing major intra-abdominal hemorrhage found in a patient during emergency hernioplasty. The source of bleeding was not identified either intra- or postoperatively.
