The first finding of going light syndrome in pet birds in Croatia
Veterinarski arhiv, 1993 Proventriculitis with subsuquent proventricular ulcer fol lowed by gizzard erosion and melena were found with an incidence of 30% as a cause of death during necropsies of different species of 34 pet birds in the last 18 months. The examinided bird were extremely cachectic and exicotic.
