This study explores the use of N, S co‐doped carbon quantum dots (NS‐CQDs) as carriers for riboflavin, creating NS‐CQDs‐RF composite photosensitizers. These composites improve riboflavin absorption, enhance ROS generation efficiency, and preserve corneal epithelium integrity.

This study reveals that metformin promotes glucuronic acid metabolism in lung adenocarcinoma by activating UGDH S476 phosphorylation and enhancing the conversion of UDPG to UDPGA based on metabolomics analysis. Through compound virtual screening, it is found that plantainoside targeting UGDH downstream UXS1 leads to UDPGA toxicity accumulation ...

ABSTRACT Orthogonal translation systems (OTSs) enable site‐specific incorporation of non‐canonical amino acids (ncAAs) and are central to genetic code expansion. Current engineering strategies typically rely on hyperstable aminoacyl tRNA synthetase (aaRS) scaffolds to tolerate destabilizing mutations required for substrate diversification.

Asymmetric Gold(I) Catalysis Enabled by Chiral Bifunctional Ligands [PDF]
Gold has experienced tremendous usage as a coinage metal throughout history due to its chemical inertness. As such, gold was not considered a viable metal for catalysis until the late 20th century when the unique soft π-Lewis acidic characteristics of ...

A healthy gut barrier shields underlying fibroblasts from luminal shear forces, illustrating that “good fences make good neighbors.” Barrier damage exposes fibroblasts to shear stress, inducing cell death and the emergence of stress‐adapted, profibrotic fibroblasts. Sustained shear exposure promotes the formation of stiff aggregates of mechanoadapative

Luminescent nanoclusters of silver and gold
Gold and silver clusters with sizes up to ∼100 atoms have unique properties, such as luminescence, that are not found in bulk materials or in larger nanoparticles. Clusters can be prepared with atomic monodispersity rather than a size distribution, as is

PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.
