Gold in iron oxide copper–gold deposits

open access: yesOre Geology Reviews, 2016
Iron oxide copper–gold (IOCG) deposits contain economic or anomalous gold, and the gold distribution is important both for its economic significance and ore genesis.

Laser Deposition of Gold

MRS Proceedings, 1988
ABSTRACTMetallic gold was deposited on several different substrates by laser pyrolysis of a goldcontaining ink. The gold was deposited in the form of lines by translating the substrate during laser pyrolysis; linewidths ranged from 10 Am to 1.5 mm. This process was performed in open air.

Structural control of orogenic gold deposits of the Verkhoyansk-Kolyma folded region, northeast Russia

Ore Geology Reviews, 2017
The Verkhoyansk-Kolyma folded region (VKFR) contains numerous Late Jurassic – Early Cretaceous orogenic gold deposits which are the source for large alluvial gold placers. This study is focused on determination of the relationship between ore-controlling

Gold deposits rich in bismuth minerals: An important type of gold deposits

2005
Several gold deposits, both in China and abroad, are drawing attention because of their abundant bismuth minerals. Comparative studies on some of them indicate that certain characteristics can aid in identifying standards and exploration criteria of the type of gold deposits. Firstly, the lode gold ore bodies are structurally controlled.

Studies of hydrothermal gold deposition - (pt.) 1, carlin gold deposit, nevada, the role of carbonaceous materials in gold deposition

Economic Geology, 1970
Studies of fresh carbonate host rocks and unoxidized gold ores of the Carlin mine indicate that gold, quartz, barite, pyrite, and other sulfides were introduced into the Roberts Mountains Formation by acid hydrothermal solutions. Laboratory investigations on the carbonaceous materials in the host rocks and ores and studies of reactions between ...
