Geologic structures associated with gold mineralization in the Kirk Range area in Southern Malawi

open access: yesOpen Geosciences, 2021
In this contribution, we use a newly acquired high-resolution airborne geophysical data set and field geological investigations in the Kirk Range area in southern Malawi to understand structures that control gold mineralization.

New observational constraints on interacting dark energy using galaxy clusters virial equilibrium states

open access: yes, 2018
As the dark sector remains unknown in composition and interaction between dark energy and dark matter stand out as natural, observations of galaxy clusters out of equilibrium abound, opening a promising window on these questions.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Metallogenic potential and prospecting of orogenic gold deposits in the Shuihouling area of the Dabie Orogenic Belt: A geochemical evidence from stream sediment anomalies

open access: yesSolid Earth Sciences
The Shuihouling ductile shear zone, located in the core of the Dabie Orogenic Belt spanning Anhui and Hubei provinces, is a key structural unit with notable mineral potential. Situated within the Wudang-Tongbai-Dabie Mo-REE-Au-Ag-Pb-Zn polymetallic belt,
