Gold-sulphide mineralization and formation conditions of Sinilga deposit (Subpolar Urals)
Hydrothermal gold deposits are known in the Subpolar Urals, which are mainly associated with sulfide-quartz veins and zones of vein-disseminated sulfide mineralization. Their investigation is very important for the development of the existing ideas about

Our study showed that human primary gingival fibroblast–derived microvesicles on nano‐engineered titanium implants promote early osseointegration and soft‐tissue attachment in vivo. ABSTRACT Titanium dental implants require both reliable osseointegration and peri‐implant soft tissue seal formation to ensure long‐term success. While osseointegration has

Active geothermal systems with entrained seawater as analogues for low-sulphidation epithermal mineralization [PDF]
The paradigm for low-sulphidation (LS) volcanic-arc associated mineralization is the active geothermal systems located along the Taupo Volcanic Zone (e.g. Broadlands). However, this analogue is inapt where fluid salinities are consistently in excess of 3.

Hidden Microcosmos in Slovak Gold Mine Rozalia – Microbial Gold Miners?
Biogeochemical cycling of gold involves dispersion and reconcentration of gold (Au) due to physical, chemical and biological processes in Earth surface environments. These processes are evocated by a metabolic activity of different microbial taxa but many of them (and also their biogeochemical potential) are still unexplored.

Ti6Al4V‐Bioglass‐Copper Composites for Load‐Bearing Implants
We have designed and manufactured a novel Ti64‐based composite by adding 45S5 bioglass (BG) and copper (Cu). Adding BG on titanium improves wear resistance and biocompatibility, whereas Cu addition improves mechanical strength while providing inherent lifelong bacterial resistance.

xx xx. ABSTRACT Osseointegration of orthopedic and dental implants is influenced by local and systemic factors, including their physicochemical surface properties and the patient's overall health status. Titanium and its alloys have been a longstanding standard for bone implants due to their innate biocompatibility and mechanical properties.
