Preparation and optical properties of worm-like gold nanorods
A type of worm-like nanorods was successfully synthesized through conventional gold nanorods reacting with Na2S2O3 or Na2S. The generated worm-like gold nanorods comprise shrunk nanorod cores and enwrapped shells.

An Electrically Conducting Water‐based Reversible Adhesive
A water‐based reversible glue is demonstrated. The glue has electrical properties similar to other conducting adhesives but can detach after an alkaline wash. Metal fillers are added to an aqueous mixture of polymer nanoparticles synthesized by emulsion polymerization. The nanoparticles are stabilized by poly(acrylic acid) chains bonded to them. The pH‐

We report on a suitable approach to predict the chirality “strength” and efficacy of chirality transfer from chiral nanoshape solutes to an achiral discotic nematic (ND) liquid crystal solvent. Highly efficacious chirality transfer based on shape commensurability between nanoshape solute (in the form of gold nanodiscs, GNDs) and a ND solvent was ...
