Recovery of Gold from Shanono Gold Ore Deposit Using α-Cyclodextrin

Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration, 2020
There are two major gold recovery methods: the hydrometallurgical technique, which employs cyanide solutions, and amalgamation method, which involves mercury (Hg). These methods present considerable health, safety, and environmental concerns. Past applications of alpha-cyclodextrin (α-CD) on gold scraps show that α-CD is not only inexpensive, but is ...

Stages of formation of gold mineralization and large gold ore deposits in Kyrgyzstan

Domestic geology, 2023
There are about 100 gold deposits in Kyrgyzstan, including large and super large ones. According to the time of their formation, several stages are distinguished, the main of which are Paleozoic. A brief overview of these stages, the geodynamic setting, and examples of the gold deposits with description of several large objects are provided.

Ore Deposits of Gold and Silver

Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy Review, 1990
Abstract As in the past, gold and, to a lesser extent, silver are attracting considerable attention from the mineral industry. Expenditure on gold exploration dominates exploration budgets worldwide. Gold is most common in the native form, but also occurs as tellurides.

The first find of grothite in gold ore deposits

Doklady Earth Sciences, 2009
1083 Grothite, representing an Aland Frich titanite variety that is described by the theoretical formula (Ca,REE)(Ti,Al,Fe)SiO4(O,OH,F) (1), is a relatively rare mineral, which was previously unknown in ores from noble metal deposits. Titanites with high concen trations of Al (up to 14 wt %) and F (up to 2.5 wt %) are characteristic of eclogites ...

Gold occurrence and ore genesis, Yata micro-disseminated gold deposit, Guizhou, Southwest China

Chinese Journal of Geochemistry, 2002
The mode of occurrence of gold in the Yata micro-disseminated gold deposit is approached through chemical phase studies coupled with ore-dressing monitoring and micro-beam analysis. The results showed that gold occurred for the most part as ultra-microscopic particles adsorbed on the surfaces or fracture planes of pyrite and other sulphides.

THE RAIGORODOK STOCKWORK GOLD-SULFIDE-QUARTZ DEPOSIT IN THE NORTH KAZAKHSTAN GOLD ORE PROVINCE

Геология и геофизика, 2018
Abstract The Raigorodok stockwork gold–sulfide–quartz deposit is located in the contact zone of a monzogabbro–diorite intrusion belonging to the Stepnyak complex (442 Ma). Two main ore formation stages have been established: early, with disseminated gold-bearing pyrite–chalcopyrite mineralization related to skarn, propylite, and K ...
