Gold weights in facial paralysis (revisited)
European Journal of Plastic Surgery, 1994A retrospective study of 11 patients with facial paralysis was undertaken. Use of the gold weight for lagophthalmos
Operative Techniques in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 1999The use of the gold weight for lagophthalmos is a simple procedure that is usually successful. The smallest weight, which will provide good coverage of the cornea, should be used because large weights are more likely to migrate.
