Essay on Kolmogorov Law of Minus 5 over 3 Viewed with Golden Ratio

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2013
The golden ratio is an astonishing number in high-energy physics, neutrino physics, and cosmology. The Kolmogorov −5/3 law plays a role in describing energy transfer of random data or random functions. The contributions of this essay are in twofold.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Design and development of biofunctional γ-cyclodextrin metal-organic-framework of naphthol AS-E phosphate for lung cancer therapy: cytotoxicity, biodistribution, and pharmacokinetic studies

open access: yesOpen Chemistry
The Naphthol AS-E Phosphate (NASEP) potentially reduce cell-growth, and proliferation making a suitable candidate in anti-cancer therapies. The short synthetic amino acid sequence Gly-Arg-Gly-Asp-Ser pentapeptide (GRGDS) and low-molecular-weight heparin (

Spanning forests and the golden ratio

open access: yesDiscrete Applied Mathematics, 2008
For a graph G, let f_{ij} be the number of spanning rooted forests in which vertex j belongs to a tree rooted at i. In this paper, we show that for a path, the f_{ij}'s can be expressed as the products of Fibonacci numbers; for a cycle, they are products of Fibonacci and Lucas numbers. The {\em doubly stochastic graph matrix} is the matrix F=(f_{ij})/f,

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

An SU(5)×A5 golden ratio flavour model

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2015
In this paper we study an SU(5)×A5 flavour model which exhibits a neutrino mass sum rule and golden ratio mixing in the neutrino sector which is corrected from the charged lepton Yukawa couplings.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

The golden ratio in the regenerative text And the ancient Egyptian wall units (HIPS )And it can be used in contemporary print designs (Temple of Hibs as a model)

open access: yesJournal of Architecture, Art & Humanistic Science, 2020
I will demonstrate in details some of the secrets of this ratio and the qualifications that is based whether in nature composition or in human body in order to extract the golden ration in its portions , then comparing it with the greek civilizations ...

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...
