Revista Biodiversidad Neotropical, 2016 In order to study the environmental response mesozooplankton in the Gulf of Cariaco, biomass, species composition and abundance in October 2010 (relaxation time) and April 2012 (time of upwelling) was analyzed. Samples were collected at 19 stations throughout the gulf. Zooplankton samples were collected by vertical tows using a Bongo net for 15 minutes.

2002Se realizó un análisis socioeconómico de los pescadores que habitan en las riberas del Golfo de Cariaco - Venezuela, en los poblados de los cinco municipios que lo limitan. La información fue obtenida mediante la aplicación de una cédula de entrevista y con ayuda de entrevistadores en un barrido censal en 44 poblaciones.

With the purpose of evaluating the best collector type for the reception of seed of mollusks, various types of artificial substrata were compared based on the texture: bland (mosquito mesh, black mesh of filament, and sisal strings) and hard (tubes of PVC, and asbestos sheets) and to the color of the mesh (yellow, blue, and green).
