A Gompertz Model With Conditional Hyers‐Ulam Stability
Mathematical Methods in the Applied SciencesABSTRACTWe consider the Hyers‐Ulam stability of a first‐order nonlinear differential equation based on the Gompertz model. The stability is conditionally established, based on the maximum size of the perturbation being sufficiently small and the initial condition being sufficiently large.

Gompertz fuzzy model for plant disease evolution
2017 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2017Plant disease experimental data have been shown to fit better with a crisp Gompertz model rather than a logistic model. A fuzzy approach based on Zadeh's Extension Principle, which leads to four systems of two parameter dependent autonomous differential equations, is applied to this subject.

Gompertz kinetics model of fast chemical neurotransmission currents
Synapse, 2005AbstractAt a chemical synapse, transmitter molecules ejected from presynaptic terminal(s) bind reversibly with postsynaptic receptors and trigger an increase in channel conductance to specific ions. This paper describes a simple but accurate predictive model for the time course of the synaptic conductance transient, based on Gompertz kinetics.

Modeling Fetal Cortical Expansion Using Graph-Regularized Gompertz Models
2016Understanding patterns of brain development before birth is of both high clinical and scientific interest. However, despite advances in reconstruction methods, the challenging setting of in-utero imaging renders precise, point-wise measurements of the rapidly changing fetal brain morphology difficult.

Gompertz Software Reliability Model and Its Application
29th Annual International Computer Software and Applications Conference (COMPSAC'05), 2006In this article, we propose a stochastic model called the Gompertz software reliability model based on the familiar non-homogeneous Poisson process. It is shown that the proposed model can be derived from the well-known statistical theory of extreme-value and has the quite similar asymptotic property to the classical Gompertz curve.
