Journal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 11, November 2026.Mechanistically, leuprorelin downregulates ELAVL1 expression, which in turn destabilizes VEGFA mRNA and decreases VEGFA protein expression. Functional assays demonstrated that this regulatory axis significantly suppressed EC cell proliferation and migration, promoted apoptosis, and inhibited HUVEC tube formation.
