2011Fertility preservation in females diagnosed with cancer has become an important area of investigation due to increasing cancer survival rates combined with delayed childbearing. Initial studies using gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist cotreatment with chemotherapy demonstrated promising results for fertility preservation.
