Exploring the Effects of Artemisia absinthium L. Essential Oil on Pseudopregnancy Model in Rats
This study investigated the therapeutic effects of Artemisia absinthium essential oil in a rat model of pseudopregnancy. Oral administration of the essential oil, particularly at 25 mg/kg, significantly alleviated pseudopregnancy symptoms, demonstrating comparable efficacy to bromocriptine.

Abstract Background Ascorbic acid 2‐glucoside (AA2G) is a stabilized form of ascorbic acid and a potent antioxidant. Ascorbic acid is present in the testes and epididymis and helps maintain the physiological integrity of reproductive organs. Its properties have been utilized to protect spermatozoa of different species from oxidative stress.

Using mycobacterium cell wall fraction to decrease equine chorionic gonadotropin after abortion [PDF]
Abstract Background Equine embryonic loss following the development of endometrial cups delays return to cyclicity due to the production of equine chorionic gonadotropin (eCG). Natural degradation of endometrial cups coincides with an influx of immune cells at 100–120 days of gestation, but ...

Exogenous eCG for stimulation of a single dominant follicle or for superovulation are common strategies to improve reproductive efficiency by increasing pregnancy rates and embryo production, respectively. Morphofunctional changes in the CL of eCG-treated cattle include increases in CL volume and plasma progesterone concentrations. Therefore, we tested

Lack of associations between female hormone levels and visuospatial working memory, divided attention and cognitive bias across two consecutive menstrual cycles [PDF]
Background: Interpretation of observational studies on associations between prefrontal cognitive functioning and hormone levels across the female menstrual cycle is complicated due to small sample sizes and poor replicability. Methods: This observational

Biological Activities of Tethered Equine Chorionic Gonadotropin (eCG) and Its Deglycosylated Mutants
Equine chorionic gonadotropin (eCG), which consists of highly glycosylated alpha- and beta-subunits, is a unique member of the gonadotropin family because it elicits response characteristics of both follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) in species other than the horse.
