hnRNPU Safeguards Oocyte Development and Female Fertility via Regulation of Alternative Splicing
Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein U (hnRNPU) is essential for oocyte development and female fertility. Oocyte‐specific deletion of Hnrnpu leads to follicular arrest, impaired meiotic maturation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and infertility.

Proteomic Signatures Over Age Reveal Significant Changes From Infancy Till Late Adulthood
Age‐specific changes in the serum proteome were investigated across the entire lifespan, from infancy till late adulthood by analyzing 178 proteins in serum samples of healthy individuals. Using various analyses approaches, distinct protein expression profiles and four protein patterns during aging were identified.

Protein Kinase C Regulates Meiosis in Mammalian Oocytes
Protein kinase C (PKC) participates in the regulation of mammalian oocyte meiosis. PKC is involved in meiosis resumption in prophase I and in the stabilization of meiosis I and meiosis II spindles. PKC stimulates the maturation‐promoting factor during fertilization and stabilizes the mitotic spindle during early embryo development. ABSTRACT The protein
