Tropical pyomyositis in Gondar, Ethiopia.

Seventy-two cases of pyomyositis are reported from the north-western highlands of Ethiopia. The majority (76.4%) came from highland areas over 1,800 meters above sea level. The clinical picture of the disease was similar to that seen in other East African countries. Staphylococcus aureus was recovered from 69 of 72 pus cultures.

The article presents some results of the field research carried out by the author in Ethiopia, Gondar 2015, at the house of Abba G.M. a wukabi bale possessed by the great tsar Seifou Tchenger, a well-known zar in the area. It is the same spirit that in the 1930s mainly possessed the bale zar Malkam Ayyahou, giving her considerable authority. The author

The Heliotherapy Clinic – Gondar- in Legnano is one of the most important examples of Italian Modern Architecture. The building was designed by BBPR in 1838 and it was the only Italian building that was published in La nouvelle architecture by A. Roth.
