MODIS-based distribution of leaf area index of grass land of Gonghe basin in Qinghai-Tibetan plateau
Proceedings. 2005 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2005. IGARSS '05., 2005Leaf area index (LAI) is a key variable of up-scaling or down-scaling in global climate change research. In this study, We present field data for leaf area index(LAI) in 42 field plots located in Gonghe basin in Qinghai-Tibetan plateau. The vegetation types of these field plots are grasslands.

Late Quaternary aeolian activity in Gonghe Basin, northeastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, China
Quaternary Research, 2013AbstractAeolian deposits at four sites in the Gonghe Basin were used to reconstruct the history of aeolian activity over the late Quaternary. These deposits include well-sorted aeolian sand, paleosols and/or loess. Aeolian sand represents dune-field expansion and/or dune buildup, whereas paleosols indicate stabilization of dunes, accompanying ...

Abstract To explore the geothermal system in the Gonghe basin located between Kunlun and Qinlin Orogen in northeast Tibetan Plateau, 310 Magnetotelluric (MT) sites were deployed in the basin. The MT sites have an average spacing of 1∼2 km and almost cover the whole basin with an area of ∼100 km by 100 km.

UAV‐SfM‐based field quantification of barchan dune celerity and morphodynamics in Gonghe Basin
Earth Surface Processes and LandformsAbstractBarchan dunes do not often coexist with grasslands. However, in Gonghe Basin, north‐eastern part in Qinghai‐Tibetan Plateau (QTP), China, many barchan dunes are distributed on the grassland at high altitude. Identifying celerity and morphodynamics of barchan dunes and exploring the interaction between barchans and grassland landscape can help ...

Environmental Geochemistry and Health
Geothermal systems are typically characterized by high-temperature and high-fluoride properties, increasing attention is focused on their environment impacts, yet understanding of fluoride enrichment mechanisms in the Qiabuqia geothermal system (Gonghe Basin, Qinghai, China) remains limited.
