Introducing Google Chart Tools and Google Maps API in Data Visualization Courses
IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications, 2012This article reports the experience of using Google Chart Tools and Google Maps in a data visualization course at Georgia State University. These visualization toolkits have many benefits but haven't been widely used in such courses. Students found them easy to use for creating a variety of interactive data visualizations.
