INFLUENCE OF EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD ON A SYMMETRICAL GYROTROPIC SLAB IN TERMS OF GOOS-HÃNCHEN SHIFTS [PDF]
A detailed study on the influence of an external magnetic field on a symmetrical gyrotropic slab in terms of Goos-Hanchen (GH) phase shifts is presented. The GH phase shifts at both boundaries of the slab are calculated, and the guidance condition is explained by means of them.

On anomalous optical beam shifts at near-normal incidence
We develop the theory of optical beam shifts (both Goos–Hänchen and Imbert–Fedorov) for the case of near-normal incidence, when the incident angle becomes comparable with the angular beam divergence.

Exploration of Illicit Drug Detection Based on Goos–Hänchen Shift
Amidst the escalating issue of drug abuse, an urgent need for effective illicit drug detection methods has arisen. This paper introduces a novel optical approach utilizing the Goos–Hänchen Shift (GHS) to explore the possibility of on-site rapid detection

Ultranarrow polaritonic cavities formed by one-dimensional junctions of two-dimensional in-plane heterostructures. [PDF]
Abstract We propose two‐dimensional (2D) in‐plane heterostructures, composed of a 2D crystal adjoining a perfect electric conductor (PEC) plane, that enable ultranarrow polaritonic resonant cavities. Specifically, we theoretically investigate the interaction of 2D surface polaritons (2DSPs) with the junction between the 2D crystal and a PEC plane.

Enhanced Goos-Hänchen shift of graphene coated on one-dimensional photonic crystal
The enhancement of Goos-Hänchen shift of graphene coated on a truncated one-dimensional photonic crystal is proposed and theoretically investigated. The proposed band-gap configuration featuring highly electric field enhancement and confinement on the ...

Deep-subwavelength engineering of stealthy hyperuniformity. [PDF]
Abstract Light behaviours in disordered materials have been of research interest primarily at length scales beyond or comparable to the wavelength of light, because order and disorder are often believed to be almost indistinguishable in the subwavelength regime according to effective medium theory (EMT).

Graphene-Assisted Goos–Hänchen Shift in a Planar Multilayer Configuration in the Visible Light Range
In this paper, the graphene-assisted Goos–Hänchen (GH) shift of the optical beam reflected from a planar multilayer configuration is investigated. The increased positive Goos–Hänchen shifts can be modulated by adjusting the Fermi energy due to graphene ...
