The classical zinc finger (ZF) protein MZF1 uses two ZF clusters to achieve metal‐dependent and gene‐specific promoter recognition. The differential redox stability and modular utilization of the two ZF clusters enable MZF1 to regulate cerebrovascular, neuronal, and cancer‐related transcriptional programs.

The asymmetric Goos–Hänchen effect [PDF]
We show in which conditions optical gaussian beams, propagating throughout an homogeneous dielectric right angle prism, present an asymmetric Goos-Hänchen (GH) effect. This asymmetric behavior is seen for incidence at critical angles and happens in the propagation direction of the outgoing beam.
