Gorenstein projective dimension for complexes [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2005
We define and study a notion of Gorenstein projective dimension for complexes of left modules over associative rings. For complexes of finite Gorenstein projective dimension we define and study a Tate cohomology theory. Tate cohomology groups have a natural transformation to classical Ext groups. In the case of module arguments, we show that these maps

Gorenstein projective and injective dimensions over Frobenius extensions [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Algebra, 2018
Let $R\subset A$ be a Frobenius extension of rings. We prove that: (1) for any left $A$-module $M$, $_{A}M$ is Gorenstein projective (injective) if and only if the underlying left $R$-module $_{R}M$ is Gorenstein projective (injective).

$\mathfrak{X}$-Gorenstein projective dimensions

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, we mainly investigate the $\mathfrak{X}$-Gorenstein projective dimension of modules and the (left) $\mathfrak{X}$-Gorenstein global dimension of rings. Some properties of $\mathfrak{X}$-Gorenstein projective dimensions are obtained. Furthermore, we prove that the (left) $\mathfrak{X}$-Gorenstein global dimension of ring $R$ is equal to ...

When are the classes of Gorenstein modules (co)tilting?

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
For the class of Gorenstein projective (resp. injective and flat) modules, we investigate and settle the questions when the middle class is tilting and the other ones are cotilting. The applications have in three directions.

Koszul homomorphisms and universal resolutions in local algebra

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma
We define a local homomorphism $(Q,k)\to (R,\ell )$ to be Koszul if its derived fiber $R\otimes ^{\mathsf {L}}_Q k$ is formal, and if $\operatorname {Tor}^{Q}(R,k)$ is Koszul in the classical sense.

Feasibility and Preliminary Outcomes of Group–Based Cognitive Remediation and Emotion Skills Training (CREST) for Adult Women With Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa: A Pilot Pre–Post Study

open access: yesEuropean Eating Disorders Review, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive and emotional deficits are common in eating disorders (EDs), especially anorexia nervosa (AN) and bulimia nervosa (BN), and can hinder engagement and recovery. This pilot single–group pre–post study examined the feasibility and preliminary outcomes of group–based Cognitive Remediation and Emotion Skills Training (CREST ...

Corrigendum to: Gorenstein projective and injective dimensions over Frobenius extensions [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Algebra, 2019
In this corrigendum, a typo in Proposition 3.2 is fixed, and an additional assumption is added for Theorems 3.3, 3.4, and Corollary 3.5: the Frobenius extension R⊂A of rings should be split (i.e., ...

All Roads Lead to China: Argentina's Beef Exports in the Context of a New Subordinate Complementarity

open access: yesJournal of Agrarian Change, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article analyses the recent expansion of Argentina's beef exports in the context of China's emergence as the world's leading beef importer and the principal destination for Argentine exports. It examines shifts in production, export orientation and domestic consumption, and analyses the export‐oriented fractions of meat capital that have ...

Ewald's Conjecture and integer points in algebraic and symplectic toric geometry

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 132, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract We solve several open problems concerning integer points of reflexive smooth polytopes, also known as monotone polytopes. While the paper belongs to the realm of discrete geometry, the connection with symplectic and algebraic geometry appears naturally since these polytopes have an important role in both areas.

How Temporal Predictability of Threat and Action Preparation Affect Defensive Freezing Responses

open access: yesPsychophysiology, Volume 63, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Defensive responses to threat are critical for survival and often involve freezing‐like behavior, which has been linked to action preparation. However, it remains unclear how this preparatory mechanism is influenced by unpredictable aversive stimuli that are difficult to discriminate or anticipate.
