U tekstu se na sintezan način prikazuje umjetničko stvaralaštvo na cjelokupnom prostoru Hrvatske od polovice 13. do 16. stoljeća. Daje se pregled najvažnijih djela, a naročita je pozornost posvećena najranijim djelima i dugom trajanju gotike te posebnostima kasnogotičkog umjetničkog stvaralaštva na prostorima kontinentalnog dijela Hrvatske.

Crkva Majke Božje u Voćinu i kasna gotika u Slavoniji

Današnja novosagrađena župna crkva sv. Marije od Pohoda, faksimilno ponavlja crkvu nekoć franjevačkoga samostana u Voćinu i sadržava ulomke izvorne crkve. Crkva i samostan, građeni krajem XV. st. donacijom Iločkih, doživjeli su tijekom povijesti snažna razaranja i obnove.

U sakralnoj arhitekturi 17. stoljeća u srednjoeuropskom prostoru često se koriste oblici gotičkog stila. Najčešće su to dekorativni motivi u oblikovanju svodova ili prozorskih formi. U ovom radu obrađena su tri primjera takva oblikovanja u sakralnoj arhitekturi 17.

This Bachelor thesis is focused on male characters in the two Cormac McCarthy's early novels, Outer Dark and Child of God. Both novels are related to the Southern Gothic; therefore, the first part of the thesis is concerned with its short characteristics and connection to McCarthy's works.
