The properties of microwave discharge in the Goubau line
High Temperature, 2008The paper deals with a waveguide-coaxial microwave-frequency module capable of exciting a torch microwave discharge in air at the end of single-wire Goubau line. The properties of this discharge are described, as well as its possible uses for applying fine-structure films of refractory materials to substrates.

Planar excitation of Goubau Transmission Lines for THz BioMEMS

2007 Joint 32nd International Conference on Infrared and Millimeter Waves and the 15th International Conference on Terahertz Electronics, 2007Experimental results of microwave discharge excitation at the edge of single transmission line are presented. The device, which consists of a waveguide, a resonator and coaxial line for energy transmission to Goubau line, is described. Optimization and application of on-chip terahertz Goubau lines
2013 38th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves (IRMMW-THz), 2013We demonstrate optimization of planar terahertz (THz) frequency Goubau lines to achieve a ~ 2 THz bandwidth.
