The GPL-stability of Rosenbrock methods for delay differential equation

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2004
The paper begins with a review of previous work on stability of numerical schemes for delay differential equations. This particular paper is concerned with Rosenbrock methods which are described briefly and then analysed. The main result of the paper is that a Rosenbrock method is GPL-stable if and only if it is L-stable.

GPL

Proceedings of the 2016 International Conference on Management of Data, 2016
Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) have evolved as a powerful query co-processor for main memory On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) databases. However, existing GPU-based query processors adopt a kernel-based execution approach which optimizes individual kernels for resource utilization and executes the GPU kernels involved in the query plan one by one.

GPL

Proceedings of the 14th annual Southeast regional conference on - ACM-SE 14, 1976
GPL, a graphics applications programming language is proposed. Features of the language are discussed; data types, operators and operation philosophy of a graphics language modeling the typical design process are outlined.

A GPL Relativistic Hydrodynamical Code

EAS Publications Series, 2008
We are currently building a free (in the sense of a GNU GPL license) 2DRHD code in order to be used for different astrophysical situations. Our final target will be to include strong gravitational fields and magnetic fields. We intend to form a large group of developers as it is usually done for GPL codes.

Proceedings of the May 18-20, 1971, spring joint computer conference on - AFIPS '71 (Spring), 1971
The tools available to the professional graphics applications programmer are without a doubt in the model T stage. They are often implemented as subroutine packages that either provide limited power or place a large burden on the user of the package.

GPL, a general purpose language

ACM SIGPLAN Notices, 1969
When studying a programming language, three questions must be answered: (1) Which entities does the language operate upon and which operations can it perform upon them? This is the questions of semantics. (2) How do we express what we want to say? This is the question of syntax. (3) How is the language realized? This is the question of implementation.

Building distributed embedded systems with RTLinux-GPL

EFTA 2003. 2003 IEEE Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation. Proceedings (Cat. No.03TH8696), 2004
Linux has revealed in the last few years as an appealing option for developing embedded systems but there are some extra requirements of embedded systems that Linux does not fulfill, such as real-time capabilities, file system size and specific hardware support. Real-time features can be achieved with Real-Time Linux GPL (hereafter RTLinux), which is a

GPL A Private Copyleft Act

2009
Abstract Compared to the complexity and variability of EULAs, the Copyright Act is a model of simplicity and uniformity. If the software provider instead wishes to permit the use of an unlimited number of copies and the unrestricted transfer of copies, copyright law proides an even simpler concept.

The GPL, the Public Domain, and the Web

2009
Abstract weaving the web, the story of his invention of the World Wide Web at CERN, Tim Berners-Lee describes how the Web technology came to be dedicated to the public domain. In the year preceding a March 1993 meeting of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) in Columbus, Ohio, Berners-Lee “had been trying to get CERN to release the

GNU GPL Distribution Fees and their Limitations

SSRN Electronic Journal, 2006
The GNU General Public License, one of the most popular licenses for software, allows distributors of software under the GPL fees only for the physical transfer of software. Much of the literature by its creator, Richard Stallman, however, indicates that there need not be any relationship between the actual costs experienced by the distributor and the ...
