Safety and Efficacy of Damoctocog Alfa Pegol in Previously Treated Children Aged 7 to < 12 Years With Severe Haemophilia A in the Phase 3, Open Label Alfa‐PROTECT Main Study

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background In the earlier PROTECT VIII Kids study (NCT01775618), damoctocog alfa pegol was efficacious for prevention and treatment of bleeds in children aged < 12 years with severe haemophilia A. Objective Assess the safety of damoctocog alfa pegol, including hypersensitivity and loss of efficacy (LoE) due to an immune response to ...

GPP estimation based on CatBoost and analysis of change driving factors in Shanxi Province, China

open access: yesScientific Reports
The gross primary productivity (GPP) of Shanxi Province, China, plays an important role in the carbon cycle of the Loess Plateau ecosystem. However, Shanxi Province lacks carbon flux stations, leading to imprecise GPP estimation results.

Expanding the substrate scope of a bacterial monoterpene synthase for the production of sesquiterpenoid and diterpenoid products

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
We have converted the only known true bacterial monoterpene synthase, cineole synthase from Streptomyces clavuligerus (bCinS, C10 substrate), to a highly competent sesquiterpene synthase (C15) with a minimum number of rational mutations. By comparison with diterpene synthases (C20), we were then able to bestow diterpene synthase activity on bCinS. This
