GPU-Disasm: A GPU-Based X86 Disassembler [PDF]
Static binary code analysis and reverse engineering are crucial operations for malware analysis, binary-level software protections, debugging, and patching, among many other tasks. Faster binary code analysis tools are necessary for tasks such as analyzing the multitude of new malware samples gathered every day.

PPT-GPU: Scalable GPU Performance Modeling
Performance modeling is a challenging problem due to the complexities of hardware architectures. In this paper, we present PPT-GPU, a scalable and accurate simulation framework that enables GPU code developers and architects to predict the performance of applications in a fast, and accurate manner on different GPU architectures.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Development methodologies for GPU and cluster of GPUs [PDF]
This book chapter proposes to draw several development methodologies to obtain efficient codes in classical scientific applications. Those methodologies are based on the feedback from several research works involving GPUs, either alone in a single machine or in a cluster of machines.

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Exploring GPU-to-GPU Communication: Insights into Supercomputer Interconnects
Multi-GPU nodes are increasingly common in the rapidly evolving landscape of exascale supercomputers. On these systems, GPUs on the same node are connected through dedicated networks, with bandwidths up to a few terabits per second. However, gauging performance expectations and maximizing system efficiency is challenging due to different technologies ...

A numerical model resulting from irreversible thermodynamics for describing transport processes is introduced, focusing on thermodynamic activity gradients as the actual driving force for diffusion. Implemented in CUDA C++ and using CalPhaD methods for determining the necessary activity data, the model accurately simulates interdiffusion in aluminum ...

A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,
