Multi‐Source Adaptive‐Fusion Transfer Learning for Streamflow Forecasting in Data‐Scarce Catchments
Abstract Streamflow gauging records remain sparse in many regions, limiting hydrological predictions. Transfer Learning (TL), which uses knowledge from data‐rich sources to improve predictions in data‐scarce targets, has emerged as a promising solution.

How Will Higher Interannual Precipitation Variability Intensify Water Stress Under a Drying Climate?
Abstract Climate change is expected to alter both the mean and variability of precipitation. Hydrological consequences of higher precipitation variability remain less understood than that induced by changes in precipitation mean. This study evaluates the combined effects of changes in annual precipitation mean and variability on runoff and water supply

The Irish Hydrometric Reference Network, Version 2.0
Reference hydrometric networks (RHNs) comprise high‐quality flow gauges with long reliable observational records from near‐natural catchments. Their primary role is for detecting changes in the water cycle, due to external drivers including climate change. Here we present an updated RHN for Ireland.

Abstract Effective water resource management under climate change is dependent on reliable modeling of future water availability, yet significant uncertainties remain due to shifting precipitation patterns and limitation in climate modeling. This study investigates a multiple‐lines‐of‐evidence approach aimed at reducing the uncertainty in projections ...

In this study, 6 widely used precipitation products APHRODITE, CPC_UNI_PRCP, CN05.1, PERSIANN-CDR, Princeton Global Forcing (PGF), and TRMM 3B42 V7 (TMPA), were evaluated against gauge observations (CMA data) from 1998 to 2014, and applied to streamflow ...

Using a three‐step framework of data preprocessing, analysis and interpretation, we provide insights into the seasonal and annual pattern of morphological changes, the overall bed form and dynamics and the location of morphological uniform river sections to assess the current morphological river state in data‐scarce regions.

Abstract Existing comparative studies on conceptual hydrological model structures have generally focused on streamflow, with less attention to evapotranspiration (ET). Yet, appropriate ET representation in conceptual models is crucial for obtaining reliable hydrological simulations, especially under climate change and in ungauged basins.

Can Conceptual Rainfall‐Runoff Models Capture Multi‐Annual Storage Dynamics?
Abstract Conceptual rainfall‐runoff models are widely used for hydrological applications, yet many fail to capture multi‐annual storage dynamics that are critical during prolonged droughts or shifting climate conditions. This study investigates whether specific structural components enable models to represent such long‐term behavior.
