Critical analysis mathematical reformulation of a rainfall-runoff model (GR4J)

1999
GR4J is an empirical lumped rainfall-runoff model with four parameters which has been developed based on a daily time step. This model allows the generation of outflows in the catchment from the input sériés of daily rainfalls. The present study focused on the extension of the GR4J model to instantaneous inputs.

How informative is land-cover for the regionalisation of the GR4J rainfall-runoff model? Lessons of a downward approach

2006
Prediction on ungauged basins is a big issue for operational hydrology and a challenge for scientists. For regionalisation objectives, the first step of the development of a priori parameter estimation is to look for correlations between calibrated parameters and physical catchment descriptors.
