Rimska je Siscija prema dosadašnjim spoznajama temeljenim na arheološkim istraživanjima imala tri nekropole – sjevernu, južnu i nekropolu u Novom Sisku. Ove su se nekropole pružale uz antičke ceste koje su iz Siscije vodile k sjeveru, jugoistoku i jugozapadu.
