Simple Lie Color Algebras of Weyl Type

open access: yes, 2003
For an $(\epsilon,G)$-color-commutative associative algebra $A$ with an identity element over a field $F$ of characteristic not 2, and for a color-commutative subalgebra $D$ of color-derivations of $A$, denote by $A[D]$ the associative subalgebra of ...

Hochschild and block cohomology varieties are isomorphic [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We show that the varieties of the Hochschild cohomology of a block algebra and its block cohomology are isomorphic, implying positive answers to questions of Pakianathan and Witherspoon in [16] and [17].

Cohomology and Deformation of Leibniz Pairs

open access: yes, 1995
Cohomology and deformation theories are developed for Poisson algebras starting with the more general concept of a Leibniz pair, namely of an associative algebra $A$ together with a Lie algebra $L$ mapped into the derivations of $A$.

PBW deformations of Koszul algebras over a nonsemisimple ring

open access: yes, 2014
Let $B$ be a generalized Koszul algebra over a finite dimensional algebra $S$. We construct a bimodule Koszul resolution of $B$ when the projective dimension of $S_B$ equals 2.

Pointed Admissible G-Covers and G-equivariant Cohomological Field Theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
For any finite group G we define the moduli space of pointed admissible G-covers and the concept of a G-equivariant cohomological field theory (G-CohFT), which, when G is the trivial group, reduce to the moduli space of stable curves and a cohomological ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Noncommutative supergeometry, duality and deformations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We introduce a notion of $Q$-algebra that can be considered as a generalization of the notion of $Q$-manifold (a supermanifold equipped with an odd vector field obeying $\{Q,Q\} =0$).

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Overview of molecular signatures of senescence and associated resources: pros and cons

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Cells can enter a stress response state termed cellular senescence that is involved in various diseases and aging. Detecting these cells is challenging due to the lack of universal biomarkers. This review presents the current state of senescence identification, from biomarkers to molecular signatures, compares tools and approaches, and highlights ...
