Attenuated Nuclear Tension Regulates Progerin‐Induced Mechanosensitive Nuclear Wrinkling and Chromatin Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The premature aging‐related progerin leads to defective nuclear morphology and is associated with disrupted molecular coupling between the extranuclear cytoskeleton and lamin‐associated nuclear envelope. It is discovered that progerin expression reduces nuclear tension, forms nuclear wrinkling, and enhances chromatin dynamics, thereby regulating ...

Large Area High‐Performance Thin Film Solid Oxide Fuel Cell with Nanoscale Anode Functional Layer by Scalable Reactive Sputtering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The high‐power density (1.33 W cm−2 at 650 °C) thin film solid oxide fuel cells (TF‐SOFCs) with nanoscale anode functional layer (n‐AFL) by high‐speed (>2 µm h−1) reactive magnetron sputtering process is successfully demonstrated. The large‐area (16 cm2) TF‐SOFCs with n‐AFL exhibited a power output of 19.36 W at 650 °C, which is the highest performance

A Sub‐Diffraction‐Limit Dimension All‐Plasmonic Optical Memory Using Non‐Linear Photochromism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An all‐plasmonic optical memory is demonstrated by using nonlinear plasmonics on a sub‐diffraction limit plasmonic nanowire waveguide coated with a photochromic diarylethene that supports the complete memory processes, “Write”, “Erase”, and “Readout” the memory ON/OFF states. Abstract The development of compact, high‐speed, and energy‐efficient optical
