A Child-Centric Interface: Graffiti or Not Graffiti
Design Principles and Practices: An International Journal—Annual Review, 2004This paper describes a usability analysis performed to determine if Graffiti is a child-centric interface. The experiment will involve children at the second and fifth grade levels. Results will be evaluated using an age-appropriate researcher created survey and direct observations of children using four different interfaces.

A political opponent assassinated Yitzhak Rabin, the Prime Minister of Israel, in 1995. The event was a macro-level collective trauma during which youth had to confront and contend with the symptoms of trauma and grief and their interactions. One unique reaction of youth was to write graffiti on the walls of Tel Aviv's city hall.
