New features on yttria‐stabilized zirconia after exposure at 1500°C: Newly discovered pyramidal structures on an old material. After exposure at 1550°C on the cross section of YSZ new features, namely pyramidal structures are discovered. These structures grow with time, increase in numbers, appear as singularities, are often arranged in strings, and ...

A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

OPTIMAL REPLACEMENT INTERVAL AND DEPRECIATION METHOD FOR A GRAIN COMBINE
A stochastic dynamic programming model is developed to determine optimal replacement intervals and depreciation schedules for a combine on a cash grain farm in north central Montana, where the optimal decision is based on the stochastic nature of winter ...

Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Effects of operating factors of an axial flow rice combine harvester on grain breakage [PDF]
The objective of this research was to study the effects of operating factors of an axial flow rice combine harvester ongrain breakage, which comprised rotor speed (RS), louver inclination (LI), grain moisture content (MC), feed rate (FR), andgrain to ...

Mapping grain yield with a combine instrumented for location detection
Typescript (photocopy).Recently the need to treat agricultural fields as variable entities has been recognized. A practical example is the optimization of fertilizer application rates according to natural variability of soil type.

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.
