Fine-Grained Image Classification Combined with Label Description

2019 IEEE 31st International Conference on Tools with Artificial Intelligence (ICTAI), 2019
Fine-grained image classification faces huge challenges because fine-grained images are similar overall, and the distinguishable regions are difficult to find. Generally, in this task, label descriptions contain valuable semantic information that is accurately compatible with discriminative features of images (i.e., the description of the "Rusty Black ...

Combining randomization and discrimination for fine-grained image categorization

CVPR 2011, 2011
In this paper, we study the problem of fine-grained image categorization. The goal of our method is to explore fine image statistics and identify the discriminative image patches for recognition. We achieve this goal by combining two ideas, discriminative feature mining and randomization.

Combined Surface and Grain-Boundary Diffusion

Journal of Applied Physics, 1969
A mathematical analysis for the accumulation of tracer as diffused through a thin metallic slab by grain-boundary diffusion is presented. Boundary conditions on the side where the tracer is deposited consist of a small depletable source, and the grain-boundary concentration is enhanced by surface diffusion. Due to the mathematical difficulty associated

Modelling the combined effect of grain size and grain shape on plastic anisotropy of metals

International Journal of Plasticity, 2012
Within each columnar grain of a metallic film, the resistance to dislocation glide varies in function of the orientation of the slip plane with regard to the grain long axis. Plastic slip is impeded across grain boundaries and this contributes to the anisotropy of the overall mechanical response.

The specificities of human IgE antibodies combining with cereal grains

Immunochemistry, 1975
Abstract A series of sera from 125 atopic patients was studied by the radioallergosorbent test (RAST) with eight allergens including cereals, grass pollen, two milk proteins and ovalbumin. Twenty-six of these sera including eight from patients with overt immediate hypersensitivity reactions to cereal grains and three with probable reactions were ...

LOSSES OF WHEAT GRAINS AT COMBINE HARVESTING

1998
The investogation found out that losses at combine of both types at all working speeds do not exceed permetted losses limits except B type combine at v3 speed. Optimal speeds for A type combine are between 2,5-4,0 km h-1 and for B type combine between 3,0-5,0 km h-1.
