Estimation des pertes à la récolte du colza d’hiver (Brassica napus) dans des conditions variées

open access: yesOléagineux, Corps gras, Lipides, 2006
Oilseed rape seed loss during harvest can cause subsequent unwanted gene flow and thus give raise to management difficulties in order to keep segmented different productions. Furthermore, seed loss reduces benefits of producers.

Comparative Study on the Effect of Different Horizontal Ventilation Ways to Cooling and Keeping Water

open access: yesLiang you shipin ke-ji, 2020
To understand the cooling effect and water loss of different transverse ventilation modes, Cover the grain stack with film and step by step unwinding grain stack film both in the transverse ventilation were used in the two wheat stored warehouses which ...

Experimental Evaluation of 100Cr6 Steel Microindented Surfaces Under Lubricated Nonconformal Point Contacts

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

Anomalous loss hysteresis loop [PDF]

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2014
This paper discusses the anomalous loss behavior in two electrical steels types. Starting from a non oriented electrical steel coil, three groups of samples with different grain sizes were produced.

Electrochemical Evaluation of Compressed Selective Laser Melted AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg Alloys in Chloride Environment

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...

Investigation of Two QTL Conferring Seedling Resistance to Fusarium Crown Rot in Barley on Reducing Grain Yield Loss under Field Environments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Fusarium crown rot (FCR) is one of the most damaging cereal diseases in semi-arid regions worldwide. Genetic studies on FCR resistance have mainly focused on disease symptoms measured by the browning of either leaf sheaths in seedlings or stems of mature

Zein‐Based Adhesives: Sustainable Extraction and Application in Bioadhesive Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Zein is extracted from corn gluten meal using a simple and scalable process with high yield (~90%). The resulting protein is applied in bioadhesives modified with Ca2+ and Fe3+ ions, exhibiting substrate‐dependent adhesion. The findings demonstrate competitive bonding performance and highlight the role of ionic interactions in tuning adhesion ...

Microstructural Evolution and Vacancy Defect Formation in Mn–Mo–Ni RPV Steel Under Low Cycle Fatigue: Insights From EBSD and PALS

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

ALTERNATING DIRECTION IMPLICIT METHOD FOR SOLVING EQUATIONS OF 2-D HETEROGENEOUS MODEL OF DEEP-BED GRAIN DRYING [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
In this paper, numerical studies of two-dimensional mathematical model are presented for deep-bed grain drying based on heat and mass transfer. The two-dimensional dynamic equations are solved numerically by finite difference method with alternating ...

Heat shocks increasingly impede grain filling but have little effect on grain setting across the Australian wheatbelt

open access: yes, 2020
While sustained warmer temperatures accelerate crop phenology, short exposures to supra-optimal temperatures (‘heat shocks’) can stress wheat crops, with drastic impact on grain yield and quality.
